Evaluations:
Children with birth years 2009-2014 will be evaluated Monday, August5th. Children with birth years 2015 and 2016 will have evaluations Tuesday, August 6th. Evaluations will all take place at Field Day Park. There are no evaluations for 2017 & younger. **If your player desires to play up an age group you must register first for your assigned birth year and then email us that you wish to play up. Playing down is not allowed in 2016 & older, and is at the commissioner's discretion for younger leagues**
Special Requests: Although we strive to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee this. IF you have any days you cannot practice, please put this in your special requests. (U10 (2016) & older teams are determined via draft, therefore friend requests are not guaranteed. This helps create balanced teams.) YMCA Discounts: We were not offering YMCA membership discounts this season. Most games and practices have moved from the Y facility.
Volunteers: We are a fully volunteer run league. Please consider sharing your time and volunteering this season. We always have a need for coaches, no experience necessary! We provide a coaches clinic, training materials and equipment! Follow the volunteer link on your account home page to sign up. If you have any questions, please let us know!
We are proud to announce our partnership with Clover Elite FC! This is a great partnership with the same common goal, to keep our kids local and to prepare to make the school teams even better! We will work together to improve our children's soccer! It's not about building the best team, it's about building better players for all those that participate! Look for more info later this season about our LW Elite challenge teams for 2015 and 2016!! We have slightly raised prices for registration this season in our U10 and up programs. This was necessary to keep up with rising field costs and referee fees. We strive to keep prices affordable and unfortunately needed to make this change.
FAQS: Where do we practice and play: We practice and play games throughout the Lake Wylie area. Fields include: Field Day Park, Crowders Creek Elementary, CSD YMCA, Alison Creek Presbyterian, River Hills Field, Oakridge Middle and Oakridge Elementary. 2000/10 often plays at Belmont (Ebb Grant Park) or Steele Creek. Please note that not all games are played at Field Day Park. 2017/18 and 2019/20 teams also do not practice at Field Day Park. What Equipment is needed: Each player needs a soccer ball, shin guards and cleats. Registration includes a team jersey, shorts and socks. Our “Cleat Repeat” will have a few opportunities prior to the season starting to donate and pick up free cleats. More info to come. Please click the link at the top to view the calendar and important date. What if I cannot make evaluations: While it is very important to be at evaluations, we understand that things may come up that prevent attendance. Players will not be eligible to be drafted by a coach if they did not attend evaluations, but players will still be assigned to a team. Evaluations are only for age groups U10+.
